Taster lessons for students whose application to enrol into Year 7 at CCWC in 2026 has been accepted. Invitations will be distributed by Monday 18 August 2025. Students who attend one of our Partner Primary Schools (Glendore, Maryland, Minmi, Plattsburg and Wallsend Public Schools), notes will be distributed by the Primary School. Students who do not attend one of our Partner Primary Schools will have their invitation mailed to them directly via Australia Post.

Parent/Carer Information Session in the Callaghan College Wallsend Campus Hall at 5.00pm. Meet the Principal, Year 7 2026 Deputy Principal and Year Advisors. The Uniform Shop will be open.
Information and invitations will be distributed early in Term 4. Students attending one of our Partner Primary Schools will be given a copy through their Primary School. Information will be sent via Australia Post to all other students.

Official Orientation Day - All students attending Year 7 at CCWC are invited to participate in the offical Orientation Day. Invitations will be distributed early in Term 4. Please see the Year 7 Book and Equipment List for 2025 below. You may obtain these items from your preferred supplier, or see details below to order online. Online orders must be completed by Sunday 5 January 2025 to guarantee delivery by the start of Term 1.
Our High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) Programs
Callaghan College was established to provide new horizons and new opportunities for our students. In this spirit, Callaghan College Wallsend Campus (CCWC) aims to build upon its programs for talented students by offering enrolment in a High Potential and Gifted Education class (Aspire Program) and Creative and Performing Arts Enrichment Program (CAPA Program).
